Three months after giving birth, I was searching for the perfect white dress to wear to my baby’s baptism, and finding one online turned out to be much harder than I expected. Most women know how tricky it is to order a white dress online because the fabric is often too thin, too sheer, or the sizing is completely off. After trying several different options and feeling disappointed more than once, I was so happy to finally find this white short-sleeved mermaid-style dress. The fabric is a cotton and polyester blend, and it feels soft, comfortable, and gentle against the skin. It has a slight stretch, which made it even more comfortable to wear, especially during a time when fit really matters. What impressed me most was that the material is thick enough to provide good coverage and is not see-through at all, which is rare for white dresses. The color is not a stark bright white but more of a soft ivory, which actually made it look even more elegant. I weighed 118 pounds when I wore it, and the size 2 fit me perfectly. I am 5’1″, and with 2-inch heels, the dress fell slightly past my knees, giving it a very graceful and classy look. Although I wish the price were a little lower, the quality, comfort, and convenience of finding such a beautiful dress online made it absolutely worth it, and now I want to buy it in more colors for other occasions

This is an absolutely fabulous dress, and after reading the previous reviews, I decided to order it in more than one color. I am 5’7″, weigh 160 lbs, wear a 36D, and in the photo I am wearing a size L. The large fits me very well with a little extra room, but it still looks shaped and flattering rather than loose or baggy. I also bought a size M because I am currently losing weight, and while I can wear it, it is a bit more fitted than I would prefer right now. It is snug enough to show some bra lines across my back, so at the moment the L definitely looks better on me, but the fact that both sizes work says a lot about how nicely this dress is designed. The fabric is not lined, but it uses a thicker knit material that does not need lining because it is substantial, comfortable, and not see-through. It is not overly heavy like scuba fabric, yet it also does not feel thin, cheap, or flimsy. One of my favorite features is the pockets, which easily hold my phone, wallet, keys, and other small essentials without making the dress look awkward or bulky. The A-line fit-and-flare shape is very flattering and works beautifully on many body types, and on me it falls right at the knee, making it appropriate even for a more conservative office setting. I also love how versatile it is, since it looks great with the front zipper fully up or partially unzipped, and it hangs so well with just a slight flare when I move or turn. I already have a few VFSHOW A-line dresses with the same crisscross waist detail, and it is one of my favorite design elements because it looks both flattering and stylish. I ordered the XS, and it fits my petite 5’1″, 105-pound frame very well. The fabric is soft and stretchy, which makes the dress much more forgiving than many body-con styles that tend to highlight every little flaw. On me, the length falls a couple of inches below the knee, and when I sit down it only rides up slightly to around knee level, which still feels comfortable and appropriate. Even though this is not usually the type of dress I reach for, I decided to keep it because it adds something a little different to my wardrobe. While I did not initially love it as much as some of the other dresses I own from this brand, I still felt it was well made, fashionable, and especially nice for the fall and winter seasons because of the tweed-style fabric. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a true XS fit and who enjoys a more fitted silhouette.
